Anita Padilla-Fitzgerald is the Founder and CEO of three successful companies. She is a 40-year mortgage industry veteran who, at 18 years old, started her career as the receptionist in a mortgage company and her career grew from there. Prior to her becoming an entrepreneur, she worked at various companies as a processor, closer, underwriter, Vice President of Operations then onto President/CEO of a company called First City Financial Corp.
In 1999 she founded and built MegaStar Financial Corp, a nationwide mortgage lender and servicer who is proud to be considered one of the top 100 mortgage origination companies in the United States. As MegaStar’s success grew, she knew there was a strong need for technological innovation and revolution in the mortgage industry. Thus, Take Three Technologies was born and now has three mortgage industry software products sold nationwide. In addition to MegaStar and Take3, she owns MegaStar Holdings, which owns and manages commercial real estate. |

Brendon Weiss began his career in 2003 as a Legislative Director for the U.S. House of Representatives. Brendon then worked as a Legislative Analyst for the US Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs from 2005 to 2007. Following this, he served as Vice President at Porterfield, Lowenthal & Fettig, LLC from 2007 to 2010.
Brendon then worked as Vice President at NYSE Euronext from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, he became the Head of Business Development and Chief Operating Officer at MERSCORP Holdings, Inc. and ICE Mortgage Technology. Brendon also served as Co-Head of Government Affairs at Intercontinental Exchange from 2013 to 2019. In 2020, Brendon co-founded EscrowTab a mortgage loan closing productivity tool allowing title, settlement, and lenders to streamline their operations and realize efficiencies by applying EscrowTab's In-Person Electronic Notarization (IPEN) and eSignature services to the closing process. |
